Why we photograph the work
A photograph is the most honest thing a contractor can offer. It shows the cut lines on a repaint, the grout on a bathroom, the flashing detail on a roof โ all the places where corners get quietly cut when nobody plans to document what happened.
Every crew photographs its jobs at completion, and on larger projects at each stage. For restoration and roofing work those photographs do double duty as the evidence an insurer asks for, which has saved more than one claim from stalling.
- Before-and-after records on every project
- Stage photography on multi-day jobs
- Documentation supplied for insurance claims
- Your job is never published without permission
What the owners said
A ceiling leak turned into a full restoration job. They documented every reading and photo for the insurer, which made the claim far less painful than I expected.
Two other companies told me the roof needed replacing. These people photographed it, showed me the flashing, and repaired it for a fraction of the price.
The HVAC technician found a crushed duct run instead of just selling me a new unit. One room that was always cold finally is not.
